Location
Located in the heart of the highlands region of New York and New Jersey, nine mile long Greenwood Lake lays like a sapphire surrounded by a literal forest of emerald green. The Greenwood Lake valley is flanked by the Appalachian Trail, Hewitt State Forest, and the Bearfort Mountains to the west and Sterling Forest® and Ringwood State Parks to the east. Only 45 miles from Manhattan, the area is a perfect destination for an afternoon drive or as an escape after a long day working in the city.
