The area around Greenwood lake is home to a variety of different festivals and amusement parks, all within a short driving distance of the Village. There are also a variety of festivals and special events right in Greenwood Lake including the Breezy Point Inn Winter Carnival, East Arm Rowing Regatta, Annual Boat Parade, and the Greenwood Lake Fall Festival. More information about these events will be provided as their respective dates approach.
Just over the ridge to the east on Rte. 17A is the home of the New York Renaissance Faire. Running from the beginning of August until mid-September this theatrical adventure is always a crowd pleaser. In October the focus changes and the area hosts the Forest of Fear.
Just 15 miles west along Rte. 17A and Rte. 94 is Mountain Creek Water Park. This entertainment complex located at the Mountain Creek Resort is the perfect place to spend a warm summer day.
